2014 Jeep Patriot Details

The five-passenger 2014 Jeep Patriot comes in three trims: Sport, Latitude, and Limited, all of which offer two powertrain choices and either standard front-wheel drive or optional 4x4. The base 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine generates 158 hp and 141 lb-ft of torque, and the upgraded 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder engine makes 172 hp and 165 lb-ft of torque. 2014 Jeep Patriot 4x4 models come equipped with the Jeep brand's unique off-roading system Freedom Drive II, and all trims come standard with a five-speed manual transmission. For the current model year, a PowerTech six-speed automatic transmission is also available in place of previously offered continuously variable transmission for both powertrain options.

The 2014 Jeep Patriot is equipped with many standard safety features, including the newly added front seat-mounted side airbags, along with many optional security measures.
